This treatment consists of 500 mL of Sodium Chloride 0.9%, administered intravenously. It is intended solely for hydration purposes and does not make any medical, therapeutic, or wellbeing claims. The infusion supports fluid balance and may be used during periods of increased fluid demand.
Administered by qualified clinicians under an authorised Patient Group Direction (PGD) or Patient Specific Direction (PSD), this hydration drip is elective and non-essential. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease and does not replace medical assessment or treatment.
